Alex founded the Cutting Edge in 1993, and loves working with her team, while fostering positive working relationships with clients. Alex strives to maintain high standards, and is passionate about working in the industry.

Emma is co-owner of the Cutting Edge, bringing a wealth of experience that she employs in her teaching of trainee stylists. Emma was previously the salon manager, and completed an advanced course at Wella London.

Brooke won the 2021 Cornwall Apprentice of the Year Award in the Hair & Beauty sector and has successfully completed her Level 3 Creative Techniques hairdressing course. She feels proud to be able to work with the Cutting Edge team, who have been supporting her throughout her salon career.

Kirra has had 15 years working in a busy salon with a Managerial background. She specialises in colouring and is constantly extending her skills and learning new techniques.

She loves making her clients feel fantastic, by giving them the lift they need!

Originally Harvey Nichols trained, Trish has over 40 years of hairdressing and hospitality experience all over the world. She excels in delivering first class customer service and has acquired the title of Salon Angel for her support of her colleagues.

Siobahn is a Level 2 qualified stylist who has returned to hairdressing in 2022 after a career break.

She is a great support to the Senior Stylists and is rediscovering her love of the trade.

Sophie began her Level 2 Apprenticeship in September 2023 and is currently enjoying her 2nd year. She is already showing great promise and is very popular with clients and colleagues.

Nicola is our wonderful Salon Assistant and also undertakes Reception duties. She is extremely thorough and adaptable, which means she quickly became a vital member of the Cutting Edge team!

Angela was a loyal Cutting Edge client for over 25 years before joining the team as Receptionist & Administrator. Her organisational skills and enthusiasm for the role enables our Stylists to concentrate on creating great hairstyles.

We are also very fortunate to have extra help in our busy salon from the lovely Phoebe and Maddie.

We continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Senior Stylist Holly on 8 December 2021, after a short illness. She was adored by her loyal clients and the entire Cutting Edge family and will always remain in our hearts. RIP Holly. x
